SAC preparation is a major focus. In the weeks before a SAC, your tutor will run timed practice tasks, mark them with examiner feedback, and focus remaining sessions on the highest-yield topics for that specific SAC. We also provide written notes on common marking pitfalls for each SAC type.
It depends on the student. Chemistry requires strong mathematical application alongside conceptual understanding. Biology is more content-heavy with less maths. Students comfortable with quantitative reasoning often find Chemistry more manageable; those who prefer memorisation tend to prefer Biology.
